Traditional Yoga classes, within the framework of Raja Yoga, are currently offered via Zoom, for children and adults, including seniors young at heart (individuals, couples, families, and small groups of all ages).

All of my classes are taught from the framework of Raja Yoga, so they are traditional, gentle, inclusive, accessible, self-nurturing, and provide a thorough workout for the person physically, mentally and emotionally. Each class takes into account the students and their needs. Every class starts with a little catching up, then we proceed to align, ground, set an intention, the practice itself, final relaxation, and a closing meditation.
BELOW ARE SOME SPECIFICS TO EACH CLASS
Meditation
This class offers a myriad of meditation techniques both from the Yogic and Buddhist traditions; it offers a welcoming virtual space for our community, where the meditation selected is meant to meet the students’ present needs. Class starts with time dedicated to welcome each one, a group catching up time where participation is optional, then based on the conversations, I propose the meditation(s) that would best meet the needs of the students. We proceed to the meditation practice itself which includes a little stretching, aligning the body for the meditative posture, grounding, the meditation practice of the evening, and the closing. It is recommended that students do not schedule activities after class, to dedicate the remaining evening time to enjoy the nourishing and calm qualities they have cultivated. Current Schedule

Chair yoga
This class is practiced mostly on the chair siting down; depending on the students, we may also include standing poses using the chair as support, and optional mat poses, too. It is ideal as an introduction to Yoga, to learn Yoga that can be practiced anywhere from the office to the park or on a plane. It is helpful for those who need balance support, for those recovering from procedures, or for those for whom it is challenging to go down to the mat. As in all other classes, the workout ranges from easy to hard, depending on the student’s muscular engagement. It is also a recommended class for expecting mothers and those new to Yoga. Current Schedule
Gentle Restorative
These classes release physical, mental and emotional tensions accumulated, so we may continue the week on a clean slate of refreshed and positive energy. Depending on whether it is Gentle, Gentle-Restorative or fully Restorative, we will emphasize different aspects, with classes including gentle & reinvigorating poses, as well as poses held for longer breaths meant to create deeper releases. These classes are ideal for those with stressful, exhausting jobs, or simply for those who love the great effects of their Yoga practices. Current Schedule
